And 'behind the scenes' we were privy to some 'tear-jerking' moments. Apparently, Subhash Ghai at that time got to learn that Shiamak had refused to accept the 3 lakh cheque sent to him for his services. And Davar's reason for refusal was a plain, "How can I accept any fee from a maestro like Subhash ji whom I respect the most in the industry. He isn't only a great filmmaker, but also a great human being. I always learn while working with him... We all just love him."
Shiamak claims that working on Taal and Kisna ensued in some wonderful moments and great bonding with the Showman. Looks like it all 'paid off', huh
